The Visual Arts Program at Columbia University is committed to providing a generous, intense and intellectually curious environment wherein artists of unusual promise can develop their visual arts practice within a community of peers. We pride ourselves on the quality and vibrancy of that community.

The full-time, adjunct and visiting faculty represents a broad spectrum of visual art production and critical thinking and thus our program takes an interdisciplinary approach to art-making, theory and critique.
