| Course Description | Prerequisites: ECON G6211, ECON G6212 or the instructor's permission. Survey of recent microeconomic work on firm behavior in developing countries, with a primarily empirical focus. Topics include: credit constraints, contracting frictions, reputations and networks, learning and technology adoption, agency issues within firms, productivity estimation, international dimensions of firms behavior, and debates around industrial policy.
