| Course Description | This course provides an integrated lecture–laboratory introduction to modern biomolecular engineering and molecular biology techniques used in biotechnology and biomedical research. Students will gain a foundational understanding of how genetic information is stored, replicated, expressed, and engineered, as well as hands-on experience with core experimental techniques used in the field. Students are required to complete the required lab safety trainings prior to the first lab (instructions will be provided by the instructor), and attend all lab sessions. Lecture slides will be posted on CourseWorks; students are responsible for all material covered in class. |
